STEMSKILLS offers a community camp for young people with autism, ADHD, and LD.

STEMSkills partners with businesses, maker spaces, and other venues in the Washington, DC area to help students gain a variety of skills. Traveling by Metro, students gain confidence using public transportation.

  • The first week, the camp will be hosted by Nova Labs, in Reston.

  • The second week, we will focus on building social skills and budgeting money and time.

  • The final week will include job exploration and tours of technology-driven businesses working in drone technology, video gaming, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.

Founder, Eric Duer, gives an introduction to the 2018 summer camp season.

STEMSkills emphasizes work culture norms and building executive functioning skills.

*Please allow access to IEP's for best-practice learning.
